INTRO
 

 When Firmenich secured a new building for its laboratories and office space in Southern France and wanted the design concept to include ‘local villages and the surrounding nature’, I was thrilled and doubly so when I was asked to execute this project's interior design.

 

Throughout this project, I worked closely with Firmenich’s global team to  transform their satellite office’s traditional workspace into ‘smarter space’ that includes functional labs, open plan desking, optionality for touchdown collaborations, and multiple forms of meeting spaces. The challenging 6 meter ceiling height acoustics were improved by carefully chosen materials/finishes, planters, panels, timber slats, screens and lighting.
